9th Annual Nottingham Mavericks IHC Vierumaki Tour

From Friday 10th December until Wednesday 15th December 2010, the Nottingham Mavericks will be travelling to Vierumaki for the annual tour. This year will feature a stay in Helsinki (2 nights), where we’ll finally be able to make it to an SM-Liiga game (Blues vs KalPa), in Espoo. The trip includes nine hours of ice time at the international renowned training centre in addition to a number of off-ice activities.

The Basic Costs:

Flights - Easyjet (Manchester - Helsinki return) approx £100 BOOK YOUR OWN FLIGHTS
B&B Accommodation - EuroHostel (Helsinki) approx €50 (£41 today)
Full Board Accommodation - Vierumaki €186 (£153 today)
Ice-Time (based on 20 people) €27 (£22 today)
Chartered Bus: Helsinki - Vierumaki return (based on 20 people) €35 (£29)
Admin Fee £5
EIHA Team Insurance (based on 20 people) £2.50
Approx Total = £350 per person (subject to currency rates).

Additional Costs:

Mavericks Tour Hockey Shirt £35;
Ticket to Blues vs KalPa - approx €10 per person;
Snowmobiling / ATVs / Ice Karting - approx €75 per person (payable locally);
Swimming €5 per person, per swim (payable locally);
