• Dragons player set to play for Team GB!

When the Great Britain women's team skates out onto the ice at the 28th International University championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan, there will be a Dragon in their midst!

London number 29, Meghan Sullivan- now in her second year with the club, with a dozen performances for both A and B teams under her belt- will no doubt be a key part of a formidable women's universities squad, bringing her particular brand of reliable stay-at-home defensive play to the group.

Meghan follows in the footsteps of her older brother Zach (currently patrolling the blueline for professional EIHL outfit Braehead Clan), who has been called-up for Team GB men in recent years, as they push for promotion to Division 1A.

Former Dragons Andreas Siagris will also be competing with the men's team in Almaty; further proof- if any were needed- of the quality of playing talent the club attracts.

The tournament forms part of the wider winter Universiade, in which teams compete across a range of winter sports, and will run from29th January to 8th February 2017.

    Good luck Meghan!
